What is a badge?

A badge issued via the International Register for Mediation is a digital representation of the certificate or diploma obtained. Badges can be shared and verified online in an easy and secure way. They can be shared over the internet for maximum visibility and recognition after which your result can be verified on our website.

When will you receive a badge?

If you have received a diploma or certificate from IRM, you are also eligible for a badge. You will receive this from the IRM committee as soon as possible. If you are entitled to an IRM badge but have not received it, you can still request it via the application form at the bottom of the page.

By applying for a digital badge, I agree to the following conditions:

Applicant will be included in IRM's online Digital Badges register. The register includes for each student: name, completed training(s) and year of obtaining the training product. This register is freely accessible to ensure the verification of badges. If permission for the register is not given, or withdrawn, the possibility and right to use the digital badge(s) will expire. Withdrawal of the consent given can be done in writing at the register and will be processed within a reasonable period of time.

The digital badges are a reflection of certificates and/or diplomas obtained. However, they do not replace these documents and have no legal value. No rights can be derived from the badges. IRM reserves the right not to award badges if they do not deem the completion of the training to be proven.
