Ambassador of Mediation
Badge description
The counsellor followed a basic course on mediation. The ambassador did not pass the assessment, but has knowledge and skills to represent and promote mediation in general.
Program content
The mediator followed the basic course on mediation. The basic course (minimum 20 blocks of three hours) has the following content:
- Basics on ADR and specifically mediation
- Rules and regulations (including basic legal aspects)
- Basic procedures
- Ethical codes
- Basic theory on the essence of conflicts
- Balancing power
- Structuring of the process of mediation
- Skills and competences
